The project was evaluated by the RIF as <em>Category A &#8211; Excellent. The project activities and objectives have been fully achieved and the results are deemed particularly important<\/em>.\u00a0 We thank all Partners and Collaborators involved for their contribution in this great result.<\/p>\n<p>&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;-<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><strong>INFLAMMATION\/CO<\/strong><strong>AGULATION &#8211; DISEASE ACTIVITY MONI<\/strong><strong>TORING DEVICE<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-296 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/web.cut.ac.cy\/biorheology\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/93\/2020\/03\/Diactmond-logo_2.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"226\" height=\"95\" \/><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\">Bio-Rheology, Bio-Fluid Mechanics, Bio-Microfluidics, advanced Data Processing methods and e-Health software systems will be utilised, to develop a prototype point of care system, for the monitoring of inflammation and coagulation in blood.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">A single untreated finger-prick blood drop will be used for the quantification of inflammation and blood coagulation levels. The information will be transferred to the treating physician through the network for assessment.
