Abstract:
The Generation R Study is a population-based prospective cohort from early fetal life onwards, set in Rotterdam, the Netherlands.

Almost 10,000 children born between 2002 and 2006 and their parents were included. The population has been followed-up at 4-year intervals for both physical and mental health and development, including detailed in-person measurements, interviews, questionnaires, imaging and biological marker measurements.

In this seminar, the design and follow-up of the study, as well as some highlighted results, have be discussed.
