APARTMENT FOR RENT TO STUDENTS IN PAPHOS

1. The Housing Office of the Academic Affairs and Student Welfare Service of the Cyprus University of Technology requests the submission of an expression of interest by physical or legal persons who have apartments for rent in Paphos, in order to accommodate students of the School of Tourism, Hospitality and Entrepreneurship Management as of September 2023.

2. We are looking for apartments in good condition, from studios up to three bedrooms, preferably located within a radius of two (2) kilometers from the School building (Ampelokipi and Panagia Pantanassa streets, Paphos). Apartments located further away are also eligible for submission but priority will be given to those closest to the School.

3. The apartments should preferably have basic furniture and household equipment in good condition (i.e. an individual bed in each bedroom, cabinet, desk, office chair, sofa/armchairs in the living room, kitchen table and chairs, oven and hob, refrigerator and air conditioning system). Apartments without basic furnishing are also eligible for submission but it is necessary that they have a hob, oven, refrigerator and air conditioning system. 

4. An apartment floor plan and some photographs (of the outside of the building and from inside the apartment) must be submitted as part of the submission of interest. The apartments should be ready for delivery by mid September 2023 at the latest

5. The rental period will be for1 year with the option to renew for 1 plus 1 year (total 3 years). 10-month contracts are also possible (September-June) if this is agreed between the owner and the tenant. The rent per apartment as well as a statement whether or not the rent covers any other amenities (e.g. internet, water, electricity, etc.) must ne submitted as part of the expression of interest.

6. The rental contract will be signed by the students. The role of the Housing Office of the University is mediating/supportive. In case a student-tenant violates terms of the contract, such as timely payment of rent, he/she will be subject to administrative sanctions by the University.

7. In the case of owners who own more than one apartment, they need to submit a separate electronic form for each apartment or contact the Housing Office and send all the necessary information by e-mail (housing@cut.ac.cy).
