Hydro-Aromatic Plants

The Group of Hydro-Aromatic Plants was established by Dr. Nikolaos Tzortzakis in 2012 and it’s based at the Cyprus University of Technology, in Lemessos. Our group has extensive research experience in plant nutrition and plant physiology/biochemistry in soil as well as in soilless culture/hydroponics for vegetables and aromatic/medicinal plants. Additionally, the group has more than 20 years of experience in Postharvest Science dealing with fresh produce preservation under natural sanitizers, essential oils, and ozone with antimicrobial properties under pathogenic, physiological, and biochemical/molecular approaches.
