Facilities

The Group of Hydro-Aromatic Plants features standard shared laboratory facilities and is one of the unions of the Department of Agricultural Sciences, Biotechnology and Food Science at Cyprus University of Technology. The lab is particularly equipped to carry out plant, substrate and soil nutritive analysis as well as hydroponic solution analysis. Moreover, the lab is carrying out fresh produce preservation and nutritive studies

A full automate greenhouse (~ 500 m2) encompasses hydroponic studies under vertical and horizontal type of plant development, while field studies may take place under pilot scale in the farm (~ 1000 m2) for vegetables and/or aromatic plants.
